The meeting location is ADA accessible. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an open house forum\, followed by a formal presentation starting at 7:00 p.m. and an additional question and answer session after the presentation. \n\n\n\nThe public information meeting is being held to provide the public and local community the opportunity to learn about the proposed project and allow for an open discussion regarding any comments and questions regarding the proposed project. For information on attending the meeting and ways to provide comments and ask questions\, please visit portal.ct.gov/DOTGroton0058-0341. \n\n\n\n“This project will improve safety and reduce congestion at the intersections by installing three modern roundabouts and a continuous pedestrian and bicyclist path\,” said Connecticut Department of Transportation Project Manager Joseph D. We encourage the public to attend this meeting to share their feedback with the CTDOT project team to incorporate into the design.” \n\n\n\nMinor right-of-way impacts are anticipated in the vicinity of the intersection of Route 614 with Sandy Hollow Road. \n\n\n\nConstruction is anticipated to begin spring 2029\, subject to the availability of funding\, acquisition of right(s)-of-way\, and approval of permit(s). The estimated construction cost for this project is approximately $16 million. This project is anticipated to be undertaken with 80% federal funds and 20% state funds. \n\n\n\nIndividuals with hearing and/or speech disabilities may dial 711 for Telecommunications Relay Services (TRS). Individuals may also request that project information be mailed to them within one week by contacting Joseph D.
