SECOG facilitates a Regional Stormwater Collaborative (RSC) which brings together municipalities, institutions, and other stakeholders to discuss stormwater management concerns, connect with experts, share ideas and developments in green infrastructure and utility improvements, and seek improved DEEP MS4 permit compliance. Meetings are often hybrid and held 2-4x a year as needs dictate. To learn more, contact Stormwater and Watersheds Manager Michelle Maitland.
MS4 municipalities in the SECOG region: East Lyme, Griswold, Groton (Town & City), Ledyard, Lisbon, Montville, New London, Norwich, Sprague, Stonington, and Waterford. Note, Colchester and Windham have been identified by DEEP as likely added permittees for the next permit period, which– as of September 2026– is expected to begin January 1, 2027.
