Technical Assistance for Municipalities
SECOG staff regularly provides technical assistance to its 22 member municipalities. There are a variety of ways that technical assistance is provided, including but not limited to: working with Planning & Zoning Commissions to update Plans of Conservation and Development (POCDs), providing interim planning assistance, research and data collection for a variety of topics, and GIS analysis and map creation. Additionally, SECOG publishes white papers on a variety of topics to assist member municipalities in understanding issues that may require technical expertise.
