Shelter is a basic human need, at every stage in life. The SECOG region is comprised of a variety of household types – from young professionals to families with children, to senior citizens, and more – that all contribute to the stability and vitality of the region. For the region to thrive, the region needs sustainable, affordable, and diverse housing options.
SECOG supports member municipalities by conducting regional housing studies, hosting affordable housing training for land use commissioners, and providing technical assistance for municipal affordable housing plans.
